2024 Mitsubishi Xpander facelift launched in Malaysia, from RM100k – 4AT, EPB
Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia has just launched the 2024 Mitsubishi Xpander facelift, finally after almost 2 years since its debut in Thailand. The Malaysian-spec Mitsubishi Xpander facelift isn’t exactly like its Thai and Indonesian counterparts as it retains the good old 4-speed automatic transmission, and we’ll continue addressing this later. What’s more important for you to know is its new price. With two variants available now, prices for the Mitsubishi Xpander start from RM99,980 (OTR without insurance).
- Mitsubishi Xpander Standard – RM99,980
- Mitsubishi Xpander Plus – RM109,980
The facelift for the Xpander is a rather literal one with its lower face revamped with a new set of headlights and front bumper. The Xpander now adopts a more horizontal and boxier look whilst retaining the brand’s signature “Dynamic Shield”. The illumination technology remains somewhat the same with the LED headlights and halogen foglights.
Standard exterior items on the 2024 Mitsubishi Xpander facelift include:

Powering the 2024 Mitsubishi Xpander facelift is still the same 1.5-litre inline-4 naturally aspirated engine which is still paired with the good old 4-speed automatic gearbox. Yes, while the Thai and Indonesian-spec Xpander has been updated with a continuously variable transmission (CVT), ours is holding on to the trusty 4-speed box.

Inside, the 2024 Mitsubishi Xpander facelift introduces a significantly revamped cabin. There is a new head unit along with a more sophisticated dashboard and steering wheel.
The air conditioning control unit has also been revamped, but the Xpander fortunately maintains a good amount of physical buttons. One new thing that would greatly improve your ownership experience of this family car would be the new electronic parking brake (EPB) which also makes way for a less-cluttered cabin.
