2024 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 4MATIC+ launched in Malaysia, from 1.2M – 4.0L V8 Bi-turbo, 612PS, 850Nm
Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has officially launched the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 4MATIC+ in both SUV and Coupe forms, these duo are being launched alongside the 2024 Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4MATIC Coupe. Priced from RM1,191,888 on-the-road, without insurance, the new GLE 63 is powered by a 4.0 litre Bi-turbo V8 engine. The 4.0L V8 M177 twin turbocharged petrol engine delivers 612 PS and 850 Nm.

Just like the M256 mill seen on the GLE450 the engine is paired with a second-generation 48-volt mild hybrid system with a belt-driven starter generator, which offers 21 PS (16 kW) of extra power and 250 Nm of extra torque when needed. The unit also facilitates smooth operation of the engine’s start-stop system and gliding mode functions.
Working in conjunction with a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission and an AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, the beefy V8 gets the car to 100 km/h from standstill in 3.9 seconds, and up to an electronically limited top speed of 280km/h.
