2022 Honda Civic FE launched in Thailand, approaching Malaysia

Over in Thailand, the 2022 Honda Civic FE has just been launched. Thailand receives three variants of the Honda Civic, namely the EL, EL+, and RS.
- Honda Civic EL – THB 964,900
- Honda Civic EL+ – THB 1,009,900
- Honda Civic RS – THB 1,199,900

RS or not, all variants are powered by the same 1.5-litre turbocharged engine. Transmission is a CVT and as usual, all power is sent to the front wheels. Maximum power output is 178 PS @ 6,000 rpm while maximum torque is 240 Nm @ 1,700 – 4,500 rpm.

Not only is the FE is more powerful than the FC, it is also bigger all around, measuring 30 mm longer, 3mm wider, and with a 33mm longer wheelbase.

All FE Honda Civic variants in Thailand are equipped with a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment display with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity.

- LKAS (Lane Keeping Assist System)
- CMBS (Collision Mitigating Braking System)
- RDM with LDW (Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning)

190,000 Baht more expensive than the EL+, the RS offers extras like an RS bodykit, 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, 9-inch touchscreen, and paddle shifters.
