Lotus Emeya updated in Malaysia for 2025 – now five variants, entry price down by RM 96k

Lotus Cars Malaysia has expanded the Lotus Emeya range to five variants and, more significantly, dropped the starting price to RM 459,000, which is RM 96,000 less than before.

The new range starts with the Emeya 600 and tops out with the Emeya 900 Sport Carbon. The “600” models pack 612 PS and 710 Nm from a dual-motor AWD setup, good for 0–100 km/h in 4.15 seconds and a 250 km/h top speed. The “900” steps that up to 918 PS and 985 Nm, uses a two-speed transmission, and shaves the 0–100 km/h sprint down to 2.78 seconds, topping out at 256 km/h.

All variants use the same 102 kWh battery, with WLTP ranges of up to 610 km for the 600s and about 485 km for the 900s. Charging is up to 22 kW AC or 350 kW DC, with the latter capable of a 10–80% top-up in around 18 minutes.

Pricing and variants are as follows:

  • Emeya 600 – RM 459,000
  • Emeya 600 GT SE – RM 519,000
  • Emeya 600 Sport SE – RM 599,000
  • Emeya 900 Sport – RM 699,000
  • Emeya 900 Sport Carbon – RM 729,000

The GT SE trims lean towards comfort with massaging and ventilated seats, intelligent glass roof and ambient lighting, while the Sport SE and Sport Carbon get active aero, the Lotus Dynamic Handling Pack and upgraded brakes. The Carbon variant adds extended carbon fibre inside and out.

First deliveries are expected in September, with bookings open at Lotus Glenmarie, Pavilion Damansara Heights and Penang.
