Leapmotor B10 gets OTA update – adds one pedal driving, AACP

Leapmotor Malaysia has announced an over-the-air (OTA) software update for the Leapmotor B10, delivering multiple new features designed to elevate driving comfort, connectivity, and safety. The latest OTA update introduces one-pedal driving capability, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, and a range of refinements to make the Leapmotor B10 more intuitive to use.

Starting with one-pedal driving, this system allows acceleration and deceleration to be controlled using only the accelerator pedal, which enhances regenerative energy efficiency. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity have now been added, giving drivers access to their smartphone apps through the 14.6-inch floating head unit touchscreen display.

Drivers can now also customize their steering wheel buttons with the new multifunction settings, allowing shortcuts for ADAS features and drive modes. A left-side split-screen layout for navigation has also been added, improving visibility when using multiple applications. Waiting time during the infotainment start-up has also been reduced with the new preloading “Quick Start” function now added.

In terms of safety, improvements have been made to the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Centering Control (LCC), ensuring smoother deceleration when approaching curves. The in-vehicle life detection reminder has also been further optimized.

The 2026 OTA software update began deployment in early February and is currently deployed to all Leapmotor B10 customers nationwide. Customers will receive an in-vehicle notification when the software becomes available and can install it directly through the head unit display.
