2025 Mazda 3 1.5L now open for booking in Malaysia – From RM119k, improved specs
Bermaz Motor has officially opened bookings for the 2025 Mazda 3 1.5L in Malaysia. Offered in both sedan and liftback body styles, the new base variant is priced at RM119,620 (on-the-road, without insurance). As with the rest of the range, it remains fully imported (CBU) from Japan.
This marks the return of the 1.5-litre variant to the Malaysian market, now at a significantly lower price point. Previously offered between 2022 and 2023 at around RM143,000, the new variant is now over RM23,000 cheaper, making it the most accessible version of the Mazda 3 lineup.
Despite its lower pricing, the 2025 Mazda 3 1.5L comes with a high level of standard equipment. Key features include:
- Leather seats with memory function
- 10.25-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay
- Wireless charger
- Smart keyless entry
- Rain-sensing wipers
- LED signature lighting
The 1.5L variant is also equipped with the full suite of Mazda’s i-Activsense advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), offering a level of safety typically reserved for higher-end models. This includes:
- Adaptive Front-Lighting System (AFS)
- High Beam Control (HBC)
- Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM)
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA)
- Front Cross Traffic Alert (FCTA)
- Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS)
- Lane-Keep Assist System (LAS)
- Mazda Radar Cruise Control (MRCC) with Stop & Go
- Cruising & Traffic Support (CTS)
Under the hood is a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated Skyactiv-G 4-cylinder engine, delivering 118 PS and 153 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission, ensuring a smooth and refined driving experience typical of Mazda’s engineering.
