Suzuki Fronx launched in Malaysia – RM147,888, one variant only

Naza Eastern Motors has just launched a new compact-SUV in the Malaysian market, the Suzuki Fronx. This new model goes up against the likes of the Perodua Ativa and Honda WR-V, two other compact SUVs. The Fronx is offered in a single variant only which costs RM147,888.

Powering the sole-variant of the Fronx is a 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine with mild-hybrid (MHEV) assistance, producing 103 PS and 138 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and power is sent to the front wheels only (FWD).

In terms of its suspension setup, the Fronx uses MacPherson struts at the front and a torsion beam layout at the rear. It rides on 16-inch wheels wrapped in 195/60/16 Goodyear Assurance tyres, and it is equipped with front ventilated brake discs and rear drum brakes.

On the outside, the Suzuki Fronx is equipped with LED daytime-running lights, triple LED reflector headlights and a full-width LED rear taillamp and a rear spoiler. Additional exterior features include;

There are seven available colours for the Suzuki Fronx; Cool Black, Pearl Snow Swhite, Magma Grey, Rising Orange, Pearl Mellow Deep Red, Ice Grayish Blue and Savanna Ivory.

Moving inside, the cabin features a multifunction leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual tone finishing on the dashboard and seats, a head-up display and analogue dials for both the RPM and speedometer paired with an integrated 4.2-inch multi-info instrument cluster display.
