All-new electric Mercedes-Benz CLA250+ open for booking, est. RM296k, launching Q2 2026

The all-new electric Mercedes-Benz CLA 250+ is now open for booking starting today. The latest electric vehicle from Mercedes-Benz Malaysia is set to have an estimated price of RM 295,888 and is expected to launch in the 2^nd quarter of 2026. However, no official specification of the vehicle has been released yet.

Built on the Mercedes-Benz Modular Architecture (MMA) platform with an 800-volt electrical architecture, Mercedes-Benz is quoting WLTP range figures to be up to 792 km on a single charge. Furthermore, 325 km of range can be added with a 10-minute fast charging of up to 11 kW. A new two-gear Mercedes-Benz electrical drive unit is equipped to maximise efficiency, with energy consumption of around 12.2 kWh/100 km.

Focusing on the exterior styling, the electric Mercedes-Benz CLA 250+ kept the design language familiar to an internal-combustion vehicle, rather than looking like a ‘spaceship’ electric vehicle. Design features such as long wheelbase, short overhangs, and a powerful rear, give the electric Mercedes-Benz CLA 250+ the familiar sports coupe look. 142 Illuminated stars on the front grille with animated lighting cues, added to emphasize modern styling, while at the rear, the star-shaped taillights become an eye-catcher.

Moving to the inside, the electric Mercedes-Benz CLA 250+ comes with an in-house MB.OS operating system, connecting various systems, powertrain, and infotainment while constantly staying up to date with over-the-air updates. Equipped with a sleek panoramic glass roof and a 51-litre frunk, the interior also receives the advanced MBUX supercreen.
