2025 Mazda BT-50 facelift launched in Malaysia – Single 3.0D variant, RM 140k

The 2025 Mazda BT-50 facelift has officially arrived in Malaysia, priced at RM 140,418 on-the-road without insurance. Offered in a single 3.0D High Plus variant, the updated pickup is fully imported (CBU) from Thailand.

In terms of exterior changes, the 2025 Mazda BT-50 facelift gets a bolder front end inspired by Mazda’s SUV range, featuring a new gloss-black grille, a larger Mazda emblem, and redesigned LED headlights with L-shaped DRLs.

The front bumper gains air curtains and a more rugged skid plate, while the rear gets reworked LED taillights, a ridged tailgate, and an enlarged logo placement below the latch.

Under the bonnet remains Isuzu’s 3.0-litre turbodiesel, producing 190 PS and 450 Nm of torque. It’s paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a part-time four-wheel drive system with selectable modes (2WD, 4WD High, 4WD Low), plus rear differential lock and Rough Terrain Mode.

Inside, the facelift keeps the same dashboard layout with a new ridged passenger trim and a larger 7-inch instrument display. Other highlights include:

  • 9-inch infotainment touchscreen with Android Auto & Apple CarPlay
  • 8-speaker audio system
  • Dual-zone climate control with rear vents
  • 8-way powered driver’s seat
  • Black leather upholstery
  • 18-inch alloy wheels (265/60 all-terrain tyres)
  • Roof rails and side steps

The price includes an accessory package with a roller shutter, wheel arch extensions, and a digital rear-view mirror with an integrated dashcam.

Standard safety features include seven airbags, ESC, hill start assist, hill descent control, and multi-collision brake. The ADAS suite covers:

  • Adaptive cruise control
  • Forward collision warning and AEB
  • Lane departure warning
  • Blind spot monitoring
  • Rear cross traffic alert
  • Driver attention assist
  • Automatic high beam

Colour choices include Concrete Gray Mica, Vermillion Latosol Mica, True Black Mica, Geode White Pearl, and Sailing Blue Mica.

The 2025 Mazda BT-50 is backed by a five-year/100,000 km warranty.
