2025 Mazda 3 1.5L High Plus launched in Malaysia – RM 120k, CBU Japan, full ADAS
Bermaz Motor has introduced a new entry point to the Mazda 3 range in Malaysia with the launch of the 2025 Mazda 3 1.5L High Plus, priced at RM 119,620 on-the-road without insurance. Available in both sedan and Liftback (hatchback) body styles and comes fully imported (CBU) from Japan, the new variant reintroduces the 1.5-litre engine option previously dropped in 2023..
The 1.5L High Plus is powered by a Skyactiv-G 1.5-litre naturally aspirated inline-four, producing 118 PS and 153 Nm of torque. Drive is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed Skyactiv-Drive automatic transmission with G-Vectoring Control Plus (GVC Plus) for enhanced handling stability.
Despite being the entry-level option, the 1.5L High Plus shares much of its equipment with the 2.0L High Plus.
Standard features include:
- 18-inch alloy wheels (215/45 Bridgestone Turanza T005A)
- LED headlamps with signature lighting
- Rain-sensing wipers
- Keyless entry and push-start
- 7-inch instrument cluster display
- 10.25-inch infotainment screen
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto
- Dual-zone climate control with rear vents
- Leather upholstery with powered driver’s seat and memory
- Paddle shifters and wireless charging pad
The only major omission compared to the 2.0L High Plus is the sunroof, which is not available on this variant.
2025 Mazda 1.5L High Plus Safety
The Mazda i-Activsense suite comes standard, including:
- Adaptive cruise control (MRCC)
- Cruising & Traffic Support (CTS)
- Front and rear Smart Brake Support (AEB)
- Lane keep assist and lane departure warning
- Blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert
- Driver attention alert and auto high beam
As before, there are seven airbags and front and rear parking sensors with a reverse camera.
Colour options include Deep Crystal Blue, Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Jet Black, Platinum Quartz, Polymetal Gray, and Snowflake White Pearl.
Each purchase includes a five-year/100,000 km warranty and free maintenance package covering parts, labour, and lubricants, along with Activ-e window tint.
