10,800 vehicles sold across BMW Group Malaysia brands in 2025 – over 2,700 EVs, 55% CKD
BMW Group Malaysia delivered over 10, 800 units of BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad vehicles in 2025, with 55% of them are locally assembled (CKD) units. For the sixth year in a row, BMW Group Malaysia has also successfully retained its position as the Number One Premium Electric Vehicle Provider in Malaysia with over 2,700 fully electric BMW, MINI, and BMW Motorrad vehicles delivered.
Focusing on the BMW brand first, it delivered over 7,700 units throughout 2025 (a decrease 27% compared to 2024 based on JPJ records), with the BMW 3 Series achieving over 1,300 units sold. The new BMW 320i Sport emerged as a standout with close to 300 units delivered within 6 months after launch. This was followed by the BMW 5 Series at over 1,240 units delivered. Meanwhile, the BMW X1 recorded over 1,200 units delivered, securing the brand’s third-best-selling BMW model. In the BMW i portfolio, the BMW iX2 xDrive30 M Sport has over 460 units delivered, followed by the BMW i5 eDrive40 M Sport at over 450 units, with the BMW iX1 eDrive30 M Sport delivered over 340 units to round off the top three.
Moving to MINI Malaysia, over 900 units were delivered for the MINI Countryman in all its variants, the all-electric MINI Aceman Se (standard and JCW) recorded over 330 units, and over 250 units were delivered across all MINI Cooper variants. This totals 1,500 units delivered by the MINI brand, marking a growth of 8.7% compared to 2024. Switching to two wheels, BMW Motorrad recorded over 1.600 units delivered (3.8% increase), 990 units of them led by the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure. The urban mobility segment sold a combined units delivered of 400 units with the BMW CE 04 (120 units) and the BMW CE 02 (170 units).
