MG5 X Edition launched in Malaysia – RM96k with bodykits and more, 300 units only
MG Motor Malaysia has just introduced 2 special editions of its models – the MG5 X Edition and the MG4 101 Edition. The former is a petrol-powered B-segment sedan and the latter is an all-electric hatchback.
Both special cars make their debut at the ‘Dare to Love’ roadshow happening at IOI Mall, Putrajaya from October 29 to November 2, 2025.
With only 300 units available, the MG5 X Edition will cost you RM96,388, just a tad pricier than the usual MG5. It adds:
- Gloss black body kit
- Trunk spoiler
- X Edition scuff plates
- MG Dashcam with 64GB SD card
All else, it is identical to the regular MG5.
The MG4 101 Edition, on the other hand, is a special celebratory version of the MG4 that commemorates MG’s 101st anniversary. The special edition model features a Union Jack roof design. Based on the MG4 Lux Extended variant in Dynamic Red and Holborne Blue, it also sports a “One of one” decal.
Both special editions are on display at the MG ‘Dare to love’ roadshow happening at IOI City Mall Putrajaya from October 29 to November 2, 2025. The company is also offering special rebates and promotions for the year-end.
