BYD Seal 6 hits 100 deliveries nationwide within a week of launch
Just a week after its official debut, BYD Sime Motors has delivered over 100 units of the BYD Seal 6 to customers across Malaysia.
According to the company, deliveries covered both Peninsular and East Malaysia, with display and test drive units now available at all authorised showrooms. “This milestone not only marks the debut of a dynamic new vehicle, but also reflects our commitment to meeting customers’ needs with professionalism and passion,” said Adeline Lew, Managing Director of BYD Sime Motors.
The distributor also confirmed plans to expand its dealer network from 37 to 50 outlets by 2026 to enhance nationwide coverage for sales and aftersales support.
BYD Seal 6 EV Malaysia prices
Two variants are offered locally:
- BYD Seal 6 Dynamic – RM 100,000
- BYD Seal 6 Premium – RM 115,800
Prices are nett without insurance.
The BYD Seal 6 is a rear-wheel drive sedan powered by a 56.6 kWh Blade LFP battery, offering up to 485 km of NEDC range (approximately 410 km WLTP). Two variants are available: the Dynamic (129 PS, 220 Nm) and Premium (218 PS, 330 Nm).
Both support DC fast charging up to 100 kW (30–80% in 23 minutes) and AC charging at 6.67 kW, with Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) support. Suspension consists of a dual ball-joint MacPherson front and multi-link rear setup, tuned locally for Malaysian roads.
Inside, the Seal 6 features a 12.8-inch DiLink infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and voice commands in multiple languages. The Premium adds ventilated seats, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof.
